Dong gua cha

This is winter melon tea– it’s unbelievably delicious.  It’s carmelized melon sugar and it has a flavor that is not particularly melon-y but is out of this world.  It’s like butterscotch and angel kisses.  You can get it at most tea stands, but I found a giant brick of it at Taisuco (or Taitung, as the locals call it).  I’m going to have to bring it home and stockpile it for if I ever leave Taiwan.
